JDs in Lounge Indian Rocks Beach

My husband and I went to JD's for the Tuesday special all you can eat fish fry dinner that was advertised on their website menu as their Daily Special...something we have done several times before. When we placed our order, the waiter informed us that they no longer feature that special even though it was advertised on their website. We asked for the manager and she refused to honor the pricing on the website menu as well. JD's, if you advertise something at a certain price, you should honor it. This is Customer Service 101. We left the restaurant and will not return.

Not sure why the drinks are so small and our waitress told us 5x "I'll be right back with water for your dog." I'm a big tipper usually 25% this waitress 10%. The food was ok. This place is convenient to the beach, but there are other options. The live music was great I'd have to say.

Went twice over our vacation....First visit wings were decent. Server was nice. Second visit the hostess was socializing and it took a few minutes to be seated in a relatively empty main dining area. After being seated we sat there for 15 min and never saw a server so we left.

The margaritas are good and the clam chowder is delicious. The servers are the nicest people in this restaurant. The inside seating is nice for conversations and the outside is good for lounging/ drinking. Quick and yummy- totally worth a stop by!

It's a nice place got an outside bar on the water. Biker friendly people are great. Excellent, Bloody Marys Their captains Breakfast Platter is really good. I ordered all the time.

Good food good service good price

Nice location with both indoor/outdoor seating. Their unique drinks are very tasty. Had the French dip and it was delicious! Would so have it again. The serving size was enough to have 1/3 a sandwich left. Specialty fries are an extra add on. So recommend a drop in.

Always wonderful food and service. Must have their "Poison Oyster Shooter" - love it!! Steamed garlic mussels were fabulous! Now another "must have"! 😊😊

Astounding service, Lori served us and she made us feel like we were eating at home and not a new restaurant. Not to mention the food was great, nobody had any complaints. I would recommend JD’s to anybody

Always stop her after a day on the beach for live music and happy hour.

This Place is amazing! The food is great and plenty but the music out of this world. They have 2 live Bands and a dance floor inside and out. When stepping inside you will not meet a Stranger! I love it and most definitely be back

Great local bar here in IRB Florida. Awesome waitstaff! Friendly patrons. Entertainment is always spot on.Upfront bar music and food , smoking allowed in back porch.

Tried JD’s for the first time tonight. Was expecting a great meal based on the number of 5 star reviews. Seafood gumbo was average and double cheeseburger was underwhelming. 2 people in our group had patty melts and said they were really good

Last night visiting the area . So happy we stopped at Jd’s , server and food phenomenal!! We had garlic feta shrimp appetizer and crab , both were delicious!! Loved the entertainment , so much fun , can’t wait to return😀

One of my favorite local places by far! Live music in the rear all day live music inside all night! Bartenders are very personable and remember regulars right down to your favorite drinks. Always busy, always fun, always a memory. Local 20+ years and highly recommend.

Exactly what you want in a beach restaurant / bar. Enuf said.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast this morning, gravy biscuits, eggs, bacon and pancakes. All were hot and delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive. Great, pleasant atmosphere, the staff seem to have great rapour and commeradery. Lori is the best!. We can't wait to return to try their seafood items!

I'm not sure how good it is but it was packed.Mostly old retired people.But not the geriatric senile kind.But still young enough to enjoy life and joke around seem like everybody from the Midwest.Definitely go back if I had the time.

Great place, bartenders and wait staff outstanding! The food is awesome I am glad to live close so I can frequent the restaurant and Back Porch. You won'tbe disappointed. !

Interesting place! Good breakfast. Good dinner. After hours outside deck bar for live music is nice. Inside for live music and dancing for the senior crowd is nice. Good prices.

Nice casual atmosphere with loads to pick from. Alot of fried foods but some broiled. Nice special s everyday. Food is good and you get enough.

If 0 stars was an option I’d be the first to select it. Worst experience... ordered a regular cheeseburger and wanted it well done the burger came out raw and didn’t even look like hamburger I understand we are in a meat shortage but if you are out of meat don’t serve whatever you can throw together in the back!

First off, This resteraunt is not using any kind of masks or protective gear with their staff, that immediately made me question this place. Secondly, we ordered drinks they were $9,Not good, and very small for price we paid. Than they were out of almost all meat besides seafood, no steaks, no ground beef in the spaghetti, no shrimp cocktail. Than we chose the catch of the day to eat which was red snapper, and not only was the portion size tiny (I mean came on a salad plate small) , but it was flavorless and tasted like it was thawed and not fresh at all. My mother also got fish and it tasted like it was frozen. Finally, we had 4 adult and 2 kid’s and apparently they add gratituty to the tip too, which all the other restaurants we’ve been to with the same group size hadn’t done. But they missed out on that one because we tip based on service not food. Service was great, food and drinks were a waste of money.

Great happy hour deals, affordable options for the whole fam, and enjoyable live music outside we could hear from inside. Amazing staff, they strive for service and comfortability.

The place might be ok for drinks and live music but the food is sub par..

Me and my wife went this past Sunday evening we are staying out at the beach for the holiday, server was great food came out quick and was good also highly recommend this bar on a Saturday or Sunday night particular band that was there the lady sings there on Wednesdays also they were very good

Awesome dinner and great service. Best kept secret all day long. We eat here everytime we get out to treasure island.

Excellent food and service, although the hostess was very rude. When nursing my daughter she came over and whispered “guess we don’t really need that high chair.” Dancing was going on at the front of the “family” restaurant when she then kicked my daughters off the dance floor. Again the food was wonderful and so was our waitress, as well as the other servers.

Service good but the.food sucked. Shrimp not eatable. Like eating rubber soaked in dishwasher. Sent it back and got steamed oysters but they were not much better.

This is an awesome place to hang out when you can grab a rare couple of hours off. Great food, prices, service and atmosphere!

Service was awful!!!! Food took forever! They were out of half the menu, but didn’t tell you until you tried to place your order. I tried to order shrimp cocktail and they said they were out, but you were allowed to order the ribs and shrimp. I asked her why and she didn’t know why.....a few other tedious things were.... Yuengling was out, they didn’t take American Express, gave my 3 year old a glass with no lid and she spilt it everywhere immediately!!!! Oh, and she gave us a pencil to fill out and sign the receipt!!!!! Said she didn’t have a pen! I will never go back! Clueless people! No manager around!

Nice outside entertainment on intracoastal, inside and outside social distance dining. We used to go many years ago, was not impressed this time- the fresh oysters just okay half small half medium, the clam chowder thin and runny not very good. However the Seafood Gumbo was Very good and the appetizer baked shrimp and feta cheeze in butter was pretty good.

Fun atmosphere, simple good food. If you enjoy meeting people, the screened in bar, casual tables and dancing to music is a great way to mingle or to enjoy the company of friends.

We are snowbirds from Chicago, and go to JDS quite often. We love the live music, great atmosphere, good food...love the piano bar! (Especially when I steal the microphone) also, the most awesome ever waitress Stephanie! She's phenomenal!!

I have been going to this lovely place for years! It has always been such a wonderful experience. The owners are like family to my family. The place is spotless, the staff bends over backwards to make sure you enjoy yourself. The view from the "Porch" is amazing! Where on the beach can you find food and drinks on a Happy Hour with Live Music? Only at JD's! The cutest part is that if you really pay attention to the little things here is someone misspells something! It's fun to spot. I assure, it is done on purpose to make you smile. Go, taste, enjoy!!! 5 stars from me and my family!!!

Bucket of salad is amazing and the mussels are fresh.... Great lunch spot. Service was a bit slow tho

My gf and i went a while back before this Covid 19 b.s i got the philly cheese steak with a espresso martini both came out sooooo good.. My gf got shrimp fondue and gator bites. Now idc about gator but that shrimp fondue was soooooooooooooooooo damm good. I basically had a orgasm right there.. We cant wait to come back when everything reopens

Known for their burgers is what they say but all of ours were overcooked from what we had asked for. Hard to get refills for the all you can eat fish. The inside was empty, the outside was fairly busy with only one or two waitresses which made for extremely slow and poor service.
